Christmas lights spectacular on Mount Street
Join special guest Nancy Dell’ Olio as she turns Mount Street into a winter wonderland
Twinkling fairy lights make everything seem magical. This year, join the residents and businesses of Mount Street on Thursday 24 November as special guest Nancy Dell’ Olio switches on this year’s Christmas light display. A frequent visitor to Mount Street, she will wear a gown by Azzaro and will be styled by Jo Hansford, colourist to the stars.
Mount Street in Mayfair is home to some of London’s most glamorous fashion, beauty and dining establishments, and many of them will be opening their doors to celebrate the occasion, with free festive treats for visitors.
Partake in champagne, mince pies and toffee apples from the likes of Christian Louboutin, Mackintosh and Loewe. At private members’ club Harry’s, you can have your shoes shined while sipping whisky, and gun merchant Purdey will offer mulled wine and a lucky dip for charity. Motoring fans can admire Porsche’s latest and greatest, which will be lining the streets, and property firm Wetherell will celebrate with Moroccan-themed festivities.
Roaming carol singers will add to the festive feel.
The festivities start at 5.30, with the lights being switched on at 6.30pm, on the plaza opposite the Connaught. For those who have been inspired by the evening, all shops will be open until 8pm.
