Indulge in the ultimate foodie fortnight with the London Restaurant Festival

October’s London Restaurant Festival showcases the capital’s most mouthwatering culinary delights, with restaurants cooking up exclusive and innovative festival menus. Fine food enthusiasts can also enjoy a programme of tantalizing tasting tours through Mayfair and Belgravia.
This year, Grosvenor is the headline sponsor of the festival. Giles Clarke, Executive Director of Grosvenor London, said: "We are delighted to be involved once again in the London Restaurant Festival and, this year, we believe that Mayfair and Belgravia’s gastronomic offering promises to be better than ever."
Here’s what’s on the menu.
Safari Suppers – Monday 3 & 10 October
Take a taste tour of Belgravia’s three main shopping streets, sampling its restaurants, delis and bars. On Monday 3 October Elizabeth Street and Pimlico Road, gastronomes can go from the Thomas Cubitt pub and locals’ favourite the Ebury Restaurant and Wine Bar to Britain’s top chocolatier, William Curley. On Monday 10 October Motcomb Street, take in Gordon Ramsay’s celebrated Pétrus, Belgravian institution Motcombs and ultra-chic patisserie Pierre Hermé.
Gourmet Odyssey Bus – Saturday 8 October
Hop on the back of an iconic Routemaster bus for a whistlestop tour of the area’s gourmet treasures, with the Belgravia bus beginning at Europe’s only Michelin-starred Thai restaurant, Nahm. The tour moves on to Claude Bosi’s acclaimed Hibiscus, followed by a visit to rustic Italian eatery Theo Randall at the Intercontinental. Meanwhile, the Park Lane Gourmet Odyssey Bus will treat guests to champagne and culinary delights from the Savoy, seafood sanctuary Massimo Restaurant & Oyster Bar, and Gordon Ramsay’s Maze.
Chocolate Tours – Friday 14 and Sunday 16 October
Peruse Belgravia’s finest sweet destinations, including quirky Rococo Chocolates, renowned patisserie-chocolatier William Curley, exquisite cake-maker Peggy Porschen and the delectable Pierre Hermé. At artisan candle chandler Rachel Vosper, guests will be able to try their hand at chocolate candle-making, while Lowndes Bar & Kitchen will be offering chocolate afternoon teas. A chocaholic’s dream.
