Let’s take a look at the best places to put down your party hats and tuck into some terrific breakfasts, lunches and dinners during the anniversary weekend – whether you’re eating out or grabbing a quick bite:

Best Places for a Diamond Jubilee Breakfast
Where you choose stop for breakfast likely depends on whether you live In Belgravia or Mayfair. No weekend Diamond Jubilee menu is complete without a traditional British breakfast, and whilst residents will probably already have their favourite morning haunt, we still have to give special mention to The Wolseley. Located on the border between Mayfair and Piccadilly, it is fairly widely acknowledged that The Wolseley serves up the best breakfasts in London. Book early to avoid disappointment, as the cafe restaurant’s breakfast is extremely popular – at least then you’ll have plenty of time to choose from the extensive morning menus.
If you’re visiting, then why make your trip truly special and opt for bed and breakfast at one of Mayfair or Belgravia’s luxury hotels? Several London hotels are offering special deals for the Queen’s Jubilee weekend, including:
The May Fair Hotel, Mayfair – If you stay between June 1 and June 30, you’ll be treated to bed and breakfast, 25 per cent off your meal at Quince restaurant, themed afternoon tea for two, and a Jubilee DVD gift set.
Brown’s Hotel, Mayfair – Brown’s Jubilee celebration package includes a traditional English breakfast, afternoon tea for two, a celebratory bottle of champagne and a luxurious set of complementary gifts. To take advantage of this offer, book two nights’ accommodation between June 1 and June 10.

Best Places for a Diamond Jubilee Lunch
After a morning packed with royal celebration, it’s likely that you and your party will be getting hungry by early afternoon. The good news is that you can’t walk more than a few steps in Mayfair or Belgravia without coming across a cafe, bistro or take-away shop displaying its mouth-watering morsels. Ottolenghi and Tom Tom Coffee House in Belgravia, and The Mount Street Deli in Mayfair come particularly recommended for a quick Diamond Jubilee lunch.
If you’re visiting Hyde Park for the Diamond Jubilee Festival, then you’ll be pleased to know that supermarket giants Sainbury’s are laying on a selection of food stalls, serving up a variety of tasty lunches.
For a more extravagant Diamond Jubilee lunch, book into the Athenaeum hotel in Mayfair. Guests can order a special celebratory hamper containing sandwiches, freshly baked scones, lemon meringue, jam, honey and – that most royal of desserts – a Victoria sponge cake. You can either take your hamper to one of the nearby Royal Parks, or enjoy it at the Big Jubilee Lunch street party on Piccadilly. Eating out has never been so magnificent.
