Erickson Beamon's Showcase of the Turquoise Mountain Graduate Collection

Erickson Beamon invites you to the first showcase of the Turquoise Mountain Graduate Collection on Tuesday 7 June 2011 from 6pm until 8pm at 38 Elizabeth Street, London, SW1W 9NZ.

Set in the city of Kabul, Afghanistan the Turquoise Mountain Project endeavours to assure a future for the local students by teaching traditional handicrafts including jewellery and gem cutting over an intensive 3-year course. In May 2009 Vicki Sarge-Beamon, co-founder and creative director of Erickon Beamon, became involved in the project by teaching and working directly with the programme's students. The event will provide a platform for the graduated students' work, where each piece will be available for purchase - with 100% profit going to the individual and their future business. Entertainment includes a traditional Afghan musician and the serving of traditional mint tea.
