The evening will be hosted throughout by ITV’s Julie Etchingham, and we are delighted to welcome our Celebrity Readers who this year include our Patron and Guest of Honour Eamonn Holmes OBE, well-known Sky TV personality and Talk Radio host. The angelic voices of the choir of Queen’s Gate School, one of the first all girls’ schools in London founded in 1891 will raise the rafters whilst the lights of countless candles usher in the Christmas season. Always a favourite, The Thames Fanfare Brass will play for us, under the charismatic leadership of Roy Bilham. Get ready for a magical evening of Christmas tales, carols and live music. End the evening mingling with celebrities and guests, enjoying mulled wine and mince pies.

Kids for Kids helps children the world has forgotten, children in Darfur, Sudan where the poorest families survive on less than £25 a year and where inflation is soaring (officially 63% June 2018), and children live in conditions of indescribable deprivation. Mothers cannot afford to feed their children protein in any form. Prolonged malnutrition damages growth, weakens bones and teeth, and destroys brain cells. The future is a bleak prospect for a mother who worries every day how she can feed her little ones, with starvation a real threat this year following an almost total failed harvest.
